Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PurchaseCheck, including the website at purchasecheck.world, the PurchaseCheck browser extension, the web app and related services (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Black Marlin Zone LLC ("Black Marlin Zone", "we", "us" or "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

PurchaseCheck analyzes product listings that you choose to check and reports what the available evidence supports, what it contradicts and what is unknown, including the gap between what a listing promises and what buyers report. For sellers, PurchaseCheck provides analysis of their own listings.

The Service is currently in private beta / early access. Features may change, be limited or be unavailable while we build it.

2. Information, not a guarantee

PurchaseCheck provides information to help you make your own decision. It does not guarantee the quality, safety, authenticity, availability or price of any product, and it is not financial, legal or professional advice. Analyses depend on the information available on the pages you check and may be incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for your purchasing decisions. We are not a party to any transaction between you and a merchant.

3. Accounts

You may need an account for some features. You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in method secure, and be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase a subscription. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans (Plus, Business Starter and Business Pro) are billed in advance, monthly or yearly as shown at checkout, in US dollars.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account's billing settings or by contacting support; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then.
• Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card details.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing period, and you may cancel before they take effect.
• Refunds are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• Taxes may apply depending on your location.

5. Fair use

Plans include the usage limits shown on the pricing page. You agree not to: use the Service to break the law or infringe others' rights; scrape, overload or attempt to bypass security or usage limits of the Service; reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law; resell the Service without our written permission; or use the Service to analyze sites in a way that violates those sites' terms.

6. Independence of results

Paid plans add features; they never change how a product is evaluated. Business plans give sellers intelligence about their own listings and never influence how products are judged for shoppers. Where PurchaseCheck shows an offer that earns us a commission, it is labelled, and commissions never change the analysis.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of anything you submit (for example product details or requirements you type). You give us a limited license to process it to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logo and reports, is owned by Black Marlin Zone LLC and protected by law. Business Pro customers may distribute their white-label reports to their own customers and partners.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Marlin Zone LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Marlin Zone LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Black Marlin Zone LLC is organized and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the Service before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
